Flexion-Distraction

Flexion-Distraction is a chiropractic technique unitizing a specialized table that distracts, flexes, and opens the spine in an automated motion. The treatment is aimed at helping neck pain, arm pain, low back pain, leg pain, and even pain after surgery. Flexion-Distraction is a nonsurgical technique that helps increase spinal motion and resolve disc bulges and herniations.

The goal of care with flexion distraction is a 50% reduction in pain in 30 days. Some patients suffering from neck and low back pain experience relief within 1-2 visits while other more complicated visits can take more time. In a data collection study of 1000 patients from 30 different chiropractic physician clinics, 91% of patients found relief of their low back pain and leg pain on average in less than 90 days.
